Hey guys,
I have a VW MK1 Caddy (same front as Golf 1) and I have three engines, an 1.8T AGU DBC me3.8, an AWV DBW ME7, and RS4 2.7TT engine. What do you think about these three options I bring to mind:
- AWV with AGU Head and ME7 Management + RS4 K04-025 Turbo (idk how hard it will be to make it fit).
- AGU Block + Head with ME7 Management and DBW throttle etc. (can this conversion be done?) + K04 or bigger Turbo.
- 2.7TT RS4 Engine Ultimate Swap mounted transversely with a 5 spd gearbox.
1. What are the pros and cons of these two different engine swaps?
2. Can the 2.7TT be mounted transversely and fitted with a 1.8T Gearbox, or do I need to find a way to get the Quattro installed altogether?
3. Which one costs less to make 400+hp?
What are your guys' ideas?
