Hello guys,

I already remapped and flashed some Me7.5 and EDC15 ecus with my MPPSv16.

Yesterday I trayed to read Audi A3 1.8T 150 Bosch ME7.5 ECU - 06A906032CB 0261206434 350716

I was using MPPSv16 software. I tried to read it several times, but a few seconds after launch a window appeared saying: Switch OFF ECU for 10 seconds then switch ON. After do this, an MPPS error occurs and the reading stops.

Then removed the 11 and 15 fuse and tried again several times but the MPPS error appear again.

Finally try to read the software in Slow(Recovery Mode) and reading started. Aftet about 10 minutes reading finished and file was saved.

The surprise for me was that the file was 512 KB rather than the other ME7.5 files I've read which are 1024KB.

Even the big surprise when I compared the saved file with the original downloaded from the internet and they are absolutely identical, but the owner of the car claims that It was already remapped by the tuning company a few months earlier.

The questions are:

1. Why could not I read the file in Medium(Default) speed and what is the difference between Medium(Default) and Slow(Recovery Mode) speed in MPPSv16?

2. When I make changes to the file at what speed to try write it back?

3. Is it really possible on a car with changed software to read the original one? Smiley I had read somewhere that there are computers with two 512KB files but I'm not sure if it was for me7.5.

Thanks.

The car was remapped with the original K03 turbo and after the changes the owner says there was a difference. At the moment the car is with k04-23 turbo and S3 injectors not scaled.

Log screen is attached.

Yes fore real, the same at 018Q-TT SW and MPPS..
The 1024kB dump of MPPS dopples the 512kB readout..

The question is, what MPPS will wirte, if it gets its dobblesized dump for a upload into a 512kB 29F400 flash  Huh

Someone ever tryed ?
