Hello,

I have two ECUs that I can use for my 1.8t project (transverse) with ME7.

I got the engine's original beetle AWV 150hp Ecu = 06A 906 032 DP, and I have an Audi A4 180HP ECU = 8E0 906 018 B.

Would the A4 Longitudinal ECU be compatible with the sensors from the Beetle Harness. And if so, would there be any advantages to using the A4 ECU, or just give a lot of issues? I was considering the A4 ECU because it looks really clean and has that 180hp.

Why not just remap original ecu to 180bhp?
It is relatively easy.

There could be some differences in the engine management
that could cause problems that are harder to solve than just a remap Smiley

Yeah I was thinking the same actually. I could even remap it myself for 180-200bhp. Learning a lot from this forum everyday.
