Some of you may know that the old Audi I5 ECU is my darling - I started what I am doing today with it...
Because there is no longer any commercial viability to it, I release all my developments and knowledge. Everything is at http://m232.org.

List of some of the stuff I have done:
* Custom datalogging routines in ECU and C++ DLL driver for windows for the WinLog suite
* Complete rewrite of load acquisition in the ECU to go from mass-flow to SD. Incl ECU hardware mods. Maf Delete.
* Complete rewrite of transient enrichment algorithms.
* 16 bit load support, no more 255 cap.
* Launch control, antilag, flatshift, knock disable
* Map switching
* TunerPro checksum plugin
* TunerPro xdf definition
* TunerPro adx definition for live tracing

Everything is open, free for all and fully documented.
There won't be a lot of people who care about this on here, but here is to those who do Smiley

Not interested in this particular ECU, nevertheless, might want to look into this to compare notes, as I also have my darling ECU(s), so many thanks.

A question that I have to ask - do you have a ball park on man-hours you spent on this?

Thanks for sharing, D. Hope I get the chance one day to do something with this ecu. Also, I could not find the prjmod binaries referenced in the wiki. Are these available?

I don't. Way too much, probably over a thousand hours.

Thanks a lot prj, i dream to build an Audi 5cyl engine and tune it on stock engine management. Your contribution is pretty much worthy for me. Kind of regards

PRJ, many thanks for this information.

As it stands, it's way over my head, but laying it out in a wiki like you've done makes it possible to digest.

Looking forward to learning what I can from your contributions Smiley
