I've had best results with a car with KRKATE with 0.021604, but then I've worked on a lot of other changes via FKKVS, the RKTI, AWEA, HDRPSOL, ESNSWL, ESSTT, ESUK and GK modules.

Once you get the car starting right, the big issue is getting the injection time right along with the correct timing. The RS3 injectors aren't all they cracked up to be in terms of plug and play as they still have cold start and spray pattern issues.

Anything to suggest? Any experience with the later style RS4 injectors?

I had problems with the injection angles too.
Especially after replacing the stock axx pistons with flat je pistons.
After weeks of tuning i found some reasonable values except in areas with high loads where im still producing black smoke like an tdi.

I'm the opposite. I've got 3 cars all with RS3s. Two are clean as a whistle, the other is like a PD130. The smokey one has 9.2:1 pistons with the same design as the AXX pistons with the "ears". I'm really struggling to get it to clean up without running out of injection window.

I've used FKKVS fixer and HDP corrections map to initially tune injectors in (after getting the offset and krkate somewhat accurate). Then the actual FKKVS to polish stuff up. Worked like a charm.

I guess, you can look up specs in the actual RS3 ECU btw, if you're using completely factory ones.

Pouring black smoke isnt a problem of the wrong AFR, its because the fuel isnt vapourized enough what causes a "wet", low in oxygen diffusioncombustion.
I guess that trough the lack of the tumble im spraying directly on the pistons.

Ive tried the rs3 injection angles but they didnt worked at all

I am in the same situation trying to dial in RS3 injectors.

Cold start is ok, engine starts on 2nd rotation, no pedal press is needed.
As soon as I start to roll, I feel a small hesitation and I have little misfires. Once temp is around 80, misfires dissapear and I get a nice black smoke at the back.

Fuel trims are around 3% at WOT, running 140bar.

Tried the RS3 injector angles, still no go. Will continue to try by reducing them 5-10% at a time and hope it gets better.

Hello, i'm new in this Forum.

My Golf Mk6 have Rs3 injectors 07K906031L and my car smoke black.

You have tested to change the position of the injectors in the cylinder head of the ea113 ?

The position taken to the left (as on rs3) does not reduce the smoke?

My injectors rs3 on the left and Oem on the right.

The injector nose after use in the original position (taken to the right).

Injectors in Rs3 engine position.

Have you tried changing these yet to see the result?

What would be the ideal piston for big turbo EA113? 9.8:1 compression flat top piston or the one with the ears.
