Another shit motor that can't be tuned to make any power. Don't bother.

I had a feeling nyet would say that based on every other v8 post that came up Smiley I agree the gains are probably 15-20HP.

As for the questions you had HelperD -

1) If there is a XDF file then great ill use tunerpro and off i go.
2) if there is a OLM/KP file setup ill figure out that tool as well.

I did find an almost ready definition but all the text is in german.. so im working on translating that as i go along...

Other feedback if people want to add in, whats important to define vs whats a nice to...

Thanks for your updates and let me know where i may be looking at this wrong.

I've not see any gains on a dyno i trust more than 5 whp (for ecu only changes)

YMMV, sorry if I'm bitter but I'm still pissed at Audi for the B6/B7 joke they played on S4 fans.

If you help me with the request i will dyno before/after dyno results Smiley the unfortunate part about the v8 is it sounds so nice... if it sounded like crap... I would be 100% with you.

Let me know if i should be looking somewhere specifically... I "think" i found a map pack on another thread.. but i dont trust the maps.. the data is right but the axis's seem off... so if i had a good piece to start with i would be much better to help with future requests. if ever needed.

There is nothing to tune there, you won't make any more power. 15-20hp gains is what they make on race fuel with timing tuned to suit.
It's already running good timing and correct fuel. If you advance ignition or change any of that you will make less power.

Quit wasting your time.

Aside from wasting my time on this specific car im learning alot about other pieces of these cars so i still want to keep digging if possible. if you have any support for that rom around Fueling/timing/throttle maps... i would still be interested in seeing it.

just a few noob questions if i can ping someone on the side that would be great.

Theres v8 damos here you can make your own by loading your original and version with map pack into ols and find the maps youre looking for and move them over.

Still digging through massive amounts of data. This was the ECU Definition file request part of the forum so i figured i would give it a shot. I found an OLS that's pretty close today but the Axis's are off on most of it. Not a noob just making my way through this different platform. Ill keep poking away and post it when its done if i end up making it from a few templates.

The software version you list isn't for a 560G, it's a 560D.

I don't have a full definition, but just to be nice, I made one with most of the major maps you ought to need (about 1800).

Forgot to thank you for the 560D definition. I do indeed need the 560G 0010 but finally am working through what you provided on the d revision and move it to the G.

Specifically am looking for a few things in the 560G 0010 definition though.

1) Timing
2) AVCS Timing
3) Misfire Thresholds
4) Idle Table
5) Coolant enrichment adders
6) Throttle Maps

I will dig through the 560D definition now. I seem to have found a 560G but a lot of the maps dont make sense what they are showing. Hopefully i can work backwards with this and get it running correctly.

That will work for sure.

Question i have, is 0010 and 0030 difference just the revision? so Audi may have come out with an updated rom mid year and revisioned it as 0030 instead?

Still not used to the naming conventions.

End question is can i take the stock rom (0030) and just reflash it to my car to start from there?

Appreciate this btw. thanks a ton.
