Howdy people.

I have a 60lb flow turbo, trying to run over 28.6 psi, fueling is fine Target is 11.7 it runs 11.66 flat as a babys bottom, timing is fine Ramps to 12 without pulling base timing is 11.25, throttle isn't pulling. As soon as it goes over 307-308 Load and over 28.5-.6 psi the car cuts ignition, never had this happen on lower boost, its not limp mode, no codes. The car is also running 1500cc of pure methanol.

IRL and IOP have been scaled appropriately, timing has been scaled in the load axis for both base and optimal as well as others. Overboost is basically turned off as I am running a EBC with integrated failsafes for AFR and Overboost.
Only thing I can think of is the map sensor limit, they are 3.07 Bar sensors but logging only reads a max of 22.8 depending on your barometric pressure.

Anyone familiar with this model ECU and any tips?

Sounds like a map limit however what is you maximum voltage on your map sensor?could you check or find that limit? do you have sufficient definitions for this ecu?

The limit is 4.95V but I would be maxing the sensors out anyway since they are only good to around 28 psi as a 3 bar. I have the a2l to use to build the def so that's not an issue.

Have you any logs?

You say cuts ignition, but I doubt that's what it is. Whats the lambda correction and injection time like? If you're maxing the MAP it's possible its going lean and those are lean misfires.

Just check the throttle position when this happens. Good way to rule out a protection mode.

Throttle is 84% which is max, timing is 12* as it was, AFR is 11.7 the only way to tell in the logs that something happened was that boost dropped and load dropped from 307 to 87.

You're starting to pull a lot of fuel as you hit the MAP limit. Does the car run a MAF? I'd be interested to see the Injection time around then. If you've no MAF and you're pegging the MAP limit, there's no reference for fuelling. Either reduce boost to stay inside MAP limit or install a 3bar sensor and scale.

The reason its pulling fuel is its running 1500cc of methanol on a progressive controller . The sensors are 3 bar sensors from the factory.  The car doesn't have a maf and is target lambda based . Pulse width is 5.6ms at 7500 on 27 psi.

The hard limit for the ecu is 255kpa is the max value in the map table

If it has a 3bar map, it should be able to read up to 2bar of boost. It's reading 2.55bar absolute (1.55bar boost) which means its either a 2.5bar map sensor, or it's not scaled properly. The maximum request is 255kpa, but even MED9 can read up to over 4bar with the appropriate sensor.

Does switching the meth off have any effect on the misfires?

We have the same issue as the ME7 we will need to do the 5120 hack to see more than 2.55 bar, the map sensors are indeed 3.07 bar sensors.  Its not a misfire its a full power cut, as if it closed throttle all the way but it inst via throttle, combustion stops completely it seems if that makes sense. And if I turned meth off at that power level I am not sure my stock fueling would be able to keep up but I can try and report back.
