Hello I am Troy. I am located in Central Wisconsin. I own a 2002 VW Golf GTI 1.8t AWP 5 spd. I have been trying to get my skc off my epromm.bin. I think i might of figuired it out. If someone would be so kind as to telling me if this is correct I would greatly appreciate it. I believe my SKC # 06802 here is my bin. I recently received another ECU that I was told will work in my car.I need to get the SKC off it i was told or do a IMMO Off. Before i do this I would like to know how to do this myself not have someone do this for me. I am in the process of building a AWP 1.8t for a 2001 Audi tt Quattro ( big turbo setup with approx 600hp ) So i want to learn how to program my other ecu.
thanks for reading this

that ecu is IMMO II simply put it in the car and follow instructions for ecu swapping IMMO II found on ross tech website

As far as turning the IMMO off in that ecu i'm not sure how to go about that. IMMO 3 files can be changed with the 95040 eeprom tool found on here.

Turning off IMMO 2 is exactly the same as IMMO 3 on ME7.

I've been unable to get it to work with turboat 95040 tool and had always assumed it was due to being immo 2?
