Are there any tools to calculate med9 checksum on vags? I know the eeprom tool can do it on the eeprom but any other tools that can do it on all the areas?

Any tool that writes MED9 will do the checksum too. It's not needed.

Winols requires you to have that license to checksum it.

Not bdm tools?

Why do you need to BDM? But yes, BDM tools should still checksum the flash.

Don't know much about med9, but i am fairly certain the checksum algorithms are very different, and it is unlikely the same tool will work on both eeprom and flash.

That .exe is only for the EEPROM checksums.

If you BDM you need to use Winols really to check sum it 1st then flash on..

If you want to flash your ecu without car you can also make immo off and then write OBD as usual...
