Can`t switch ME7.1.1 (audi allroad 2.7tt 4z7 907 551 s) in boot mode
« on: July 19, 2010, 01:42:22 PM »
Hello everybody! Great forum! My first post here.
Two my friends have alrroads 2.7tt with not-chipped 4z7 907 551 S Ecus, engines BEL. They ask me to disable in dump broken EGT sensors. And i was surprised-this euro-4 ecus a very different from conventional me7 2.7tt ecus-green pcb, different layers on it, different component locations. Even case is other-different form and sealed. So-i can not switch it in bootmode. I use galletto 1260 (yes this is clone, i know this is no good but i am not professional tuner etc), i use 10kOhm pullup resistor-and got "bootmode inactiv" message everytime. I am trying grounded through this resistor 104 pin of processor, or 24 pin of 29f800bb-no boot mode.
But with this galletto and resistor, i switch before few me7.x.x ecus from 2.7tt and 1.8t without any problems. Problems only with this strange green ecu.
I attached pictures of this ecu-i google the numbers from processors but find nothing. Is this c167 processor, or maybe Xc167? Or maybe i must use 8kOhm resistor as it write in c167 datasheet instead of 10kOhm. Any advices and suggestions welcomed!
Sorry for my English, i am from Russia)

The free NefMoto ME7 ECU flashing tool should allow you to read and write this ECU over the OBD port without boot mode.
