How do I know if my ECU is in Boot mode or not?

I Have VCDS.

It is a ME7.1.1

If you have analog amp meter on your power supply, you can easily see bootmode vs no bootmode difference at current gauge.

on 7.1.1 you have to desolder one resistor before try enter boot mode
