Hello,

can somebody tell me what is the sense of setting the TVLDMX lower than original?

I know it is the max. limiter for the n75.

I see some tuningfiles where this limitir is adjusted lower than original....

best regards

In my case lowering it slightly removed part throttle boost oscillation in high gears.

I clearly have my Terms mixed up. I thought this was the boost I term. Pft.

EDIT: Seems I was actually talking about KFLDIMX.

The I limiter has a similar function to max wgdc in that if you have a steady state where req is not meeting actual (both P and D are constant), wgdc won't come up because the I term is capped.

I did not understand what it does tvldmx.

my n75 is dead and I do not know if the reason is the age or the fact that I increased the value of this table (95 ->97.50)

Is tvldmx  a diagnostic table (no error on dashboard) ?
or increase the values of voltage (V or A) of the n75?

This is going to be completely confusing and unclear, but I'm going to type it regardless.

Consider you're at a concert in the back and can't see because of the crowd in front of you. Sometimes they are standing some times they are sitting and you're too short to just stand up to see over them.

So, you have to use a shove and dig dirt to pile into a mound to stand on to see. But you want the best eye level to enjoy the show, so you want the mound to be an exact height. But every time the crowd stands or sits you have to use the shove to increase or decrease the mound height. When you get close enough you can use your own legs/knees to fine tune the eye level height while standing on the mound.

So, the crowd stands up, and you immediately stand on your tippy-toes to no avail. So, you start to dig and build up you mount until you can see and as the crowd slightly moves up and down you quickly adjust with your own legs/knees. Then the crowd sits and you're too high even when you sit. So, you dig dirt off the mound to lower it until you can see standing and can quickly adjust with you legs/knees.

It's take more time to dig dirt than to use your legs/knees. And once you pile dirt high on the mound it takes time to remove dirt to lower it. If you piled too much dirt for your target height (more than you're legs/knees could adjust for), it would then take time to remove dirt to needed level.

KFLDIMX sets a limit of how high that mound can become. It SHOULD be calibrated to the highest you should ever need if the crowd stands tall and jumps around. If you are allowed to build the mound unnecessarily high, you overshoot and waste time removing dirt and by the time you're finished the crowd may have sat back down and you're all over the place trying to adjust your mound while missing the show.

TVLDMX is a cheap/quick way of doing this in the boost on set and top end areas at the cost of spool and topend max boost.

Let the head scratching begin.

thanks for your replay!
my english is very bad ... but  "at the cost of spool" i think is clear i will do a new map using only KFLDIMX

i have another question for you

are uadplmx and uadpumx diagnostic table  (no error on dashboard)? or are a cheap/quick way to increase pressure?

thanks Daniele
