Hi,

I can't seem to connect Visual ME7 Logger to the ecu when it's in the car.
Nefmoto flasher can connect but loses the connection soon after.
VCDS works fine.

All the above works fine on my bench setup.

The ECU is a 4Z7907551M flashed with the M-box file (with Missing Message from Instrument Cluster fix and immo disabled).

Any ideas?

Overlooked this topic: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=12466.0title=
Will give the suggestions a try.

EDIT: no luck when unplugging the cluster (can you unplug it in the ECU box?, I removed the cluster but it's a hassle)
Do I disconnect the k-line that's currently connected to the ECU before running a seperate k-line cable?

Nefmoto gives the "Disconnecting because no response was received for the Tester Present message." error when it disconnects (can also hear a second beep coming from the cluster).

The car is a European PFL S4.

Can confirm that cutting the k-line cable at the ecu and running a seperate wire from the OBD dongle to the ecu fixed the issue.

Hello. I can confirm modifying speed to SLOW-0x00 in  .ecu file saved in ecu folder of visualme7logger sorted it for me.
I can now connect the vme7logger while ignition is on and it wont crash if i start the engine loggin 28 variables.(note i only just figured out the connection headache ,havent acually logged anything rolling)
My ecu is a 06A906032HJ.
