You could contact alientech for support... In any case it might be bricked...Need boot mode with magpro or any other tool that supports boot mode in this ecu.You can also try to connect directly to the round plug with and adapter but i dought you are going to save it if it is not flashed with the correct file. From the other hand i have seen ecu tunes (manual flashed over dsg) doing that too so first you need to determine where is your issue.

any dtc? tried to flash tcu back to stock, maybe with vcp/odis?
Did the car run with only the ecu tuned or have you flashed tcu right after ecu and maybe ecu is the problem?
mk4 or mk5

I think it´s k-line C-version DSG? So bootmode only after open mechatronic. Or is it E/F version?

049409 is stored in ecu
have you tried to ID the tcu with kess or does it answer on vcds?

All R32 cars have Cxx series dq250 , this behaviour means (P,R,N,D flashing ) that your dq250 mechatronic ecu is bricked .
You can recover it with Magic X17 at boot mode and with pcm flash too l(maybe with cmd but not tested ) . i have dq250 read files from R32 tcu readed on bench with X17 tool so if you need ask me .

Pcmflash does no bootmode for C-version, it´s Powerpc and not tricore processor. So i would expect BDM for these and not bootmode.
All MK4 are C-version for sure, but a think late MK5 could be E/F too...

I/O tool can also recover the C box. I've personally seen Fxx on MK5 R32, but mostly they are C.

Tried to use that diagram when I had a C brick, and my board was different (despite it being a C box). Made a jig, (guessing at the locations that were different) and no dice.
