Hey all,
I bought a built AWP for my car with a gt3076r, injectors etc etc. My buddy has an Audi a4 1.8t with an AWM in it however the motor is donezo. My question is will the AWM ecu work with the AWP motor? Correct me if I'm wrong but the AWP ecu is me7.5 and is wideband whereas the AWM isn't wideband and is me7.1. If the ecu isn't compatible then am I just able to swap the AWP ecu into the a4 or are the pins on the harness different?

Thanks,
- Gavin

yes it will work just fine, youll need to use all the accessories including engine mounts, alt, ac compressor, power steering pump, belt driven fan, intake manifold, exhaust manifold etc. youll need to put a pilot bearing in the crank of the awp engine too. besides that its a straight swap, youd be keeping the awm engine harness and ecu. make sure it has the original awm injectors in it otherwise it will over fuel the awp injectors are about 17% larger then awm injectors
