Hello,

the screen from my Golf 4 cluster got dead pixels and i dicided to replace it with a Passat cluster i still had from the passat before.

i managed to read both dump files of the cluster and save it.

with some research i found out that its exchangable if you write the Golf cluster dump into the passat cluster(or a R32 dump into the passat cluster with some changes), but there are a few changes you have to make in the dump file to make it accually work, read it on gti-tdi.de

Someone says you have to make changes to speed line, speed signal, Activate the analog Inputs for Light Warning and opened Driver-Door and petrol tank line.

Does anyone know where to find those lines in the dump file and how to change this , or is there a guide how to change dump files from clusters ?

Search DashDump software on the internet, will be easy job then.

i managed to get it work with a R32 mk4 dump file from a cluster 1J0920846GX

then i put some values back from the old dump of the original passat cluster because the lcd's of the trip and time where not correct (some strange values where given in the screen)

I think its working fine now but Vag eeprom programmer reads login -25701 , can i change this because i think this is not good lmao
