Hello everyone, earlier this week I tried flashing my 06A906032hk ecu through OBD while in the car with good success. After trying out a couple of tunes I flashed a slightly more questionable map and the car wouldn't start. I tried to connect through OBD again but not it fails to connect. Eventually I got the ecu out and tried to reflash using boot mode in the car which didn't work. I have now built a bench flash harness but the ecu doesn't connect at all anymore. I've tried galleto, nefmoto and argdub's eprom reader but both obd and boot connections fail, almost as if there is no ecu connected. Any leads as to what's happening?

Yes, you bricked it.

However, no matter how badly you screwed up, bootmode should work.

I know its bricked, it's the fact that I can't seem to connect no matter what that has me stumped.

Are you sure it's entering boot mode?

Unless you fried it by connecting it wrong, it'll always go into boot.

Also, there's no rate my tune here anymore, so not sure where you're getting files from.  Most are either ripped off or shite.  This is a prime example of "don't flash stuff that you don't know where it's been."

I notice same problem with an 1ML906032 ECU after several reflash even with a valid checked file. ECU was completely bricked inclusive boot mode doesn´t work at all.

Aussie is a large place...

If you don't mind posting to NZ, I can fix it.
