Hi guys,

Has any of you ever done some research on the canbus messages uses by the ecu <-> cluster immobilizer handshake?
From what I know canid's 0x010 and 0x011 are used, but I haven't got a complete overview yet.

What would be the difference between 4a and 4c then?

I focus mainly on VAG PQ platform which uses immo 4, not sure if that would be 4a or 4c ...

4A = immo with "adaptation", 4C = immo use a "challenge" key which changes every ignition cycle. More info here: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Immobilizer
