Hi

I have a mate with a PD 115 remapped (AJM engine code) and hes asked me to copy his remapped file from his ECU and flash it onto another one from a AJM engine.

Is there any sort of difficulties in copying a remapped file from one ECU and flashing it onto another?

Ill be using a MPPS clone with V3 of the software.

I take it both ECUs will ahve the same software numbers.

Any issue with immobilisers etc?

No issues with Immobs. just copy the map and flash onto the other ECU

I would personally do it on a bench harness though as if you brick the ecu there is little way to recover the ecu unless you desolder the chip. On the bench you have a more controlled enviroment to flash the ecu.

Could you also post the file once you've done it please. I have an AJM which I mapped but would love to see a pro tuned version of the map. I am pretty sure mine is in the tuned section but if not I can post anyway.

Even if the ECU numbers aren't exactly the same as long as the part number of the ECU is the same you'll be fine.
