Question for the gurus:
So with the stock 2.5 bar map sensor maxing out around 22psi, will it still boost beyond that point or is there some kind of regulation going on in the ecu that wont allow it to pass that point? From the looks of my load values i dont believe it does and if so maybe 1-2psi past.

I  know that my ladt car which had a 3bar wouldnt read past 30psi but it would still boost beyond that point. You judt didnt know how much. I'd get a ballpark from my load values tho.

It means the sensor can never read higher, nor can the ecu request higher.

it is covered in depth in the various 5120 threads and mentioned several times in the s4wiki.

with stock DSLOFS values, it is theoretically possible for the ecu to request slightly more boost than the sensor can read, thus causing the ECU to be confused and continuously add duty until it maxes out.
