can someone help me out? when I download the me7sum zip its just a file and doesn't come up as and application, I try to run CMD anyways and I keep getting the error messages. system cannot find the path specified. TIA

me7sum isn't an application per se.
in cmd you type me7sum space (name of bin file) another space (name of bin file after corrections)
it will then correct checksums and save the (name of bin file after corrections) and you can delete the first file

now I get this... ive been messing with this for hours....
me7sum 2000 audi s4 stock file#2.bin 2000 audi s4 stock file#2_fixed.bin
'me7sum' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I finally got me7sum to work on my computer and it fixed the checksums, it says it saved it to the file name I specified, but I cant find where it saved the file? Thanks in advance

Woooaa calm down ya tits   If you asking me, this tread schould be erased. If he can't find by his own how to use CMD(what is explained on this forum tooooo many times) then for he is better to give up from tuning. I didn't know eather how to use CMD and me7sum when I get to this forum. But I spent some time searching on this forum and try,try and try till I get it done |
