Hi,

I am just starting to learn about tuning (it's a hobby I do during my spare time with my own car...)
I have no history for my car and I don't know if anyone ever tried to map it. I know that LAMFA values shouldn't exceed 1. I also learned that once EGT calculated value is higher than the specified in TABGBTS, AFR is sourced from KFLBTS.
My LAMFA values are quite wierd (1.99..) and EGT value in TABGBTS is set to 400, so I suppose that afr request is sourced now from KFLBTS (pls see attached).
I read on this forum that there are tuners that prefer to disable the LAMFA table and lower TABGBTS to set up afr request in the KFLBTS table. I wonder if my ecu has this setting from factory or it has been altered?

So, should I raise TABGBTS to 8-900 and work with LAMFA from now on? or should I stick to this setup and work on KFLBTS?
Although, KFLBTS ha a higher rezolution being a bigger table especially for a higher load

Stay at KFLBTS beacuse it take values according to load. That is my opinion

I originally have the same maps (LABGTS 399 etc) as the starter in 512kb ecu. Brief question: How is the desired afr value calculated when the modeled egt is less than 400, but the lamfa values are 1.99 at same moment (straight 1.99 line in logs)?

ECU is 8N0906018AB

in addition, I think that first post in thread has the lamfa table with one byte offset wrong.. Because my 0.85 changes worked and was seen in logs...

You will need to share logs to see what is going on.
