Hello,

i want to swap the immobilizer with IMMO 4-C.
But I have some problems reading and swapping IMMO Data.
With old IMMO 2/3 it was no problem for me, but with IMMO4c I have to learn a lot :-(

What‘s the correct way to swap the dump and crypted IMMO Data?
Is a 08E 920 931 P (Bosch RB8 Crypted) from a A4 8E.

We’re to find IMMO Data and how to transfer it to new immobilizer so that crypto will work.

Thank‘s a lot for help and general information about RB8 Crypro with IMMo 4C

What tools do you have to do it?

- VCDS Pro (CAN Interface)
- MPPS-Interface
- some selfmade KKL-Interfaces to read Eeprom (many times used successfully for ME7, EDC15 ECU dump read/write and VDO dashes with Immo2 and 3)

For older cars <2004 i cloned and modified a lot of dashes and ECU, but IMMO4C is a complete new world for me because of extra IMMO Data.

What are the best/easiest tools to do the cloning job IMMO4-C?
Are there any free tools for simple testing?
So I can organize it for future project and learn handling the IMMO4-C

Or there are only the commercial tools like AVDI oder Dejavu or similar?

My intention is to learn the thing in the deep (to swap/code IMMO Data directly by hand if possible) and not automated by software like AVDI.

Hmm I didn't find any cheap tools for RB8.
You will need carprog, Vag Can tacho, AVDI as you say.
These cluster are so easy to fuck up

I also had to experience this painfully after my first reading tries with RB8.
Is there no possibility of manual entry and reading IMMO Data in the dump?

Infos about were to find IMMO blocks (in the dump, in the microcontrolller, etc...?) would be helpful as well for me to understand the IMMO4-C system.

Nobody some infos about handling WFS4-C?

I know a person who do this job (Transfer IMMO-Data to new Immobilizer) with a simple KKL-Interface and a stupid read/write procedure without any expensive commercial tool.
I saw it myself, he read the dump and flash with a DOS-Command, copied some lines out of old dump and flash in HEX Editor, started crypto tool in a DOS-Command-line and wrote it back to new immobilizer. -> 100% fully working immobilizer clone in less than 4-5minutes.
But he made a very big secret about it and won‘t tell me something about background procedure. :-(

Nobody else do this without the typical commercial software?
