So I have tried to fix this on my own and researched before posting and I dont know where else to turn so here we are.

In the beggining my tuner set up my Flasher and my ME7 logger. It worked great and I have never had a problem. As time went on my old computer became extremly slow and I was forced onto a new one.

I made sure (or so I thught) all my filed matched up to the old ones.

So on Nefmoto Flasher I was just finally able to read the cable today.

Cable is a Real Rosstech cable. In dumb mode. For the longest time it would not register it. So Thats fixed i guess?

But for ME7Logger. It does not let me log. It comes up with:

Logged data size is 126 bytes.
Really logged are 72 entries with 126 bytes.
FTDI library version 30214
can't open FTDI interface, error=2
Initialization failed, exiting ...
exiting (cause=0x1)...


This is with FDTI Selected as the COMM Port, I have Tried COMM Ports 1,2,3, AND 4. JUST DOES NOT WORK

I have what I think are all the files I need. Not sure where else to go. I have reached out to tuner but he is busy and cant help.

"can't open FTDI interface, error=2" is not a connect issue, it is a driver issue.

Try the vcp drivers and enable vcp, assign it a com port.

alternately, get an ebay ftdi cable and hope it works. They're cheap though so you can always try a few different ones.
