I just started reading up on tuning a few weeks ago and want to delete my EGTs on stock tune since they are bad and the car will be going stage 3 within 6 months. I have a 2001 Manual S4 and pulled the stock file from the car and used Tunerpro to edit the file. Per the wiki I went into 0x18196 18197, 192CA and changed the values from 01 to 11 which from my understanding would make the ECU skip them. I then put then new file into the Checksum ME7Checker/Fixer and it fixed 2 errors. Is this the correct way to go about this or is my understanding completely wrong. Attached is my stock file as well as what I think is the EGT deleted one if somebody could confirm what I am doing is correct or point me in the right direction.
