Hi,

My Ecu has had it, and I need to replace it. Can anyone tell me what Ecu I can?
My car is an allroad 2.7t ARE engine, car was tip but I am swapping to manual now. Ecu was 551D me7.1 800bb (see image). Need to know what Ecu will work. Thanks

any ME7.1 ecu from this list should work (except 512kb ecus of course)

Is there some reason you are avoiding 8D0...551M?

Thanks for the link, I know of a 2.7t BES a6 local breaking. On your link it shows as me7.1.1. Will this work? Thanks

Not avoiding 8D0 551M, if there is one available I will buy it.

Your ECU is marked D not H? Not sure what that ECU is for.

If H, yes 7.1.1

Yes my original ECU is 551D me7.1 for ARE allroad but there is an A6 BES in the locality for breaking but from your chart it reads BES is me7.1.1.

Can I reflash a rs4 k box to an Mbox to work on a 2.7t ARE? From your chart it shows that there should be no issue, can you confirm?

It should work, the only issue is that the rs4 box has a few outputs the s4 does not (two vs 1 vvt outputs, intake flapper) but I'm not sure that is a problem.

And yust copy values of MAF and injectors from original ECU, if they are different

4Z7 907 551 D  bocsh number 0261 207 137. According to list above it is not 7.1.1 ECU. So it schould be no problems to flash a M file over it?
If somethnig goes wrong, can it be restored it via boot mode with original file like i do on 1.8T ECUs?
