Hello guys, one question. I've bought a RS4 B5 and the car is already tuned...so i'm looking for an ORI file to flash.
I've found a lot of threads on ori file etc...and i notice for example that 2 ori file with same numbers have little difference.

How can i know which one is safety to flash? Could be immo problem? The difference could be checksum area?

In attached 2 ori found.

The 2nd one is clearly not stock.

KFZW, KFZW2, KFMIRL, KFMLDMX, KFFLDE, LDRXN are all obviously different.

Did you bother looking at any of the map differences?

Sincerely i've open a lot of ori files...and now in those 2 ...i've only compare in hex...not looked the maps Sad

I will edit the topic and looking for other ori files.

Can i flash with kess easy any ORI file found here k-box without have immo issue to bring back original my rs4?

Immo is in eeprom right?

Correct,
could be that the eeprom layout changes between versions but that is most likely not the case.

So basically yes...
