I want to flash ecu back to stock because dpf was removed. Can I backup the current ecu file with Nefmoto?

I took the ecu out and read what it says on it. Nothing about ME7..
Is there another way that I can tell if the ecu is ME7? Or does that mean it's not?

ECU details:
VW PASSAT 2010 2.0 TDi
EDC17CP14 HW:H08
HW: 0281015029
SW: 1039S30090
