If I’m not mistaken this fart is actually a way to reduce torque to allow gear change.

I analysed a MK5 GTI file.

I could only see 2 tables that could be responsible for the DSG Fart (aka Vrrpha).
They are:
1. Minimum Ignition Angle at Gear Engagement
2. Minimum Ignition Angle at Active Charge Movement.

I am not sure, I am a noob to MED9.1 tuning and tuning in general but according to what I see:
1 has values higher than 2. So I am guessing with Gear Engagement, the ignition angle goes higher then it comes down to the level of 2. once shifting is done.

I was able to get something similar on ME7.5 whereby I reduced the values for certain rpms where I shift to -15 or so (in KFZWMN).

I had a similar DSG fart on the manual like this but it wasnt as consistent and pure, as in a Mk5 GTI.

Again, I really dont know that much about this, but I am just stating my experimental efforts.

It is indeed a difference of perception that brings about our and others reality.

If you do not need Kat heating, couldn't you replace variables for switching to KFZWMNKH map with .... oh wait, you're on a manual. Never mind. Oh wait again, maybe replace with B_kupp ?
