Hi all,

I have A4 1.8T with BEX engine code (for Europe, 190ps)
My ecu's software is "8E0909518AN 0261208285 368075" and i couldn't find enough address to modify for big turbo, big injector, hard cut rev.. etc...
I have a virgin file "8E0909518AK 0261208230 368072" and have all of adresses & xdf of it.

Is it possible to write 8E0909518AK file on my ecu?

First 32KB seems same.

You can cross flash it, but car will not start beacuse different EPROM, you will get immo DTC.
If you try to do immo off,you will get no errors, but again car will not start.
ECU will not brick, and you can flash original file back without problems.

Solution can be to put virgin epprom file in it.
Or safe solution if you have EPROM from that AK file.

One more method can work but I didn't tested it 100% if you put EPPROM from AWT ECU 4B0906018DH with immo off you can flash any file to your ECU with 6.02 bootloader

It seems easier to continue searching for more address or full xdf for my original AN file.
