Hello, I am very new in this type of stuff so please be gentle. I have MK4 Golf 1.8T with AUM engine. I full read and saved .bin file from Seat Leon 1.8T AUQ using NefMoto ECU Flasher and I want to flash it in my car. Checked the checksums - no errors. My car have IMMO2 ECU and the .bin i want to flash is from IMMO3 ECU. So my stupid question is there a problem with flashing IMMO3 ECU .bin in IMMO2 ECU and do I need PIN/SKC of the both cars in case something goes wrong? Does this procedure requires adapting the new software to my car's IMMO if that makes any sense.

Prepare for bricks.

Just tune your file.

I am aware of bricks.
One more question - so my AUM ECU is 06A906032DR and the AUQ 06A906032MJ
can I use the same exact XDF file in TunerPro or there are differences in the definitions?
Will the attached XDF do the job right or I'll have to search for another one?

I am trying to remap my own file and from all I read, the differences betweeen AUM and AUQ are only LDRXN and LDRXNZK, which are responsible for boost right? So I have to copy the values to my table and the ECU is ready for 180hp? Or there are more things I should change like fueling and timing?

You have two ways of doing this. Either you find a matching immo2 binary, or you have to look for the changes.

I did that a while ago and its way more than just LDRXN/ZK. I attach the binares used:

They use the same program layout so you can simply line them up and compare in Tuner Pro with HN0002 XDF.

I include an Excel sheet with all the changes written up in seperate tables.

Today I was trying again and I found 14 tables that are with different values and  I copied them to my tables that are with the same name of course. I don't know if that is correct to do but they were absolutely the same, just with a different values. Now if my work is correctly done without checksum errors can I proceed to flash the file and if yes will I have trouble with IMMO or the car should start because I am flashing the original file just a little tuned.

If you tune the stock file, you will have no issues with immo.

What have you changed and what does it do?

I opened 2 instances of TunerPro, in the first instance i loaded my stock .bin with the correct XDF and in the second instance I loaded stock AUQ 032MJ bin with the correct XDF. I compared every files in the both bins and all the tables were with the same names and values and only 14 of them were with the same layout but with different values.

That's not what I asked though.

Explain what you've copied and what changes you expect to happen.  You gotta know why you're changing stuff, not just cause it's different.

In this link you will find
AUM.bin my original stock file
AUM180.bin - the one with changed tables
AUQ.bin - the stock 180hp from where I was copying the tables.

I expect 180hp but I'm still not flashing anything before I am sure that it will be safe to do it. I know that the ECUs are cross flashable and that's why I changed the values of the following tables:

//BOOST//
KFTARX
LDRXN
LDRXNZK

//TIMING//
KFZW

//FUEL//
KFFWL_0_A
KFFWL_1_A
FKKVS
LAMFA
KFLBTS
KFFDLBTS

//MAF//
KFMLDMX

//ENGINE SPEED//
KFNLLNST

//BOOST PID//
KFLDRL
KFFWLLDE

Okay, I've done it. I guy who knows what he's doing told me all the map addresses I have to replace and so I did.
Flashed the file and the car runs fine. It feels a little bit more faster and responsive in some way. I will share the .bin with you.
With few words the attached file is for AUM with 06A906032DR ECU that is tuned with AUQ maps.

This is not how to tune in the slightest.

You've changed two tables and can't explain what you've changed.

I don't know if I'm using the correct terminology but I've used these addresses. Some of them were the same. If you think I should chane other tables, please share their addresses if that's not a problem.
