Im new here but not new with not new to the workings of a ecu, done several swaps in the past in older gm's. I have a e36 bmw with a 2.5l and a b5.5 passat with a 1.8t awm. This looks to be a good site to get to know the ecu better in both these and may think of putting a m62 in the e36 in the far future, have the 6 speed for one sitting. I have other project in line before thinking about doing anything with the e36 since runs good, like getting the 7.3 idi in order in my obs f250. I also have projects on the back burnner like my 71 f100 with a build 390 that is in need of a cab but is mobile. The early 90s gm ecu I know well enough to do engine swaps or mod on to something, like take a 307 in a 69 c10 and convert it to tbi or swap 305s to 454. Reason I came accrost this site is dealing with the passat, sai port in the head is cloged and find it a was of time to fix. Since my brother has a b6 a4 with the 1.8t I feel it be a better use of my time to get to know this ecu. So Hi all y'all on on this site.
