Hi to all,
I've been reading the forum for a while (i´m still a newie), and thanks to the quarantine I now have some time to start messing around with an ecu and a couple of dashboards that I had as a replacement for my audi TT.

Time ago I bought an Me7.5 8n0906018F-0261206105 with its dashboard 8N1 919880E and its key, all from the same donor.
These days I have made a bench to work with it. The bench consist on the dashboard with the rfid coil, the ecu and a OBD port.
It works well, when I power the bench the dashboard recognize the rfid chip and the immo light turn off, If i power up the bench without the key in the rfid coil the immo light on the dashboard keeps flashing as it should

I can read the 95040 in bootmode without problems and I can write it too, But if I write a immo off .bin it doesn´t work. I tried modifying the original one, with the eeprom tool, manually and with a virgin one but nothing of this worked.

If i try to read the flash with nefmoto it connects to the ecu but says: “Validation Falied. ECU reports RequestUpload service is not supported. Request upload may have been disabled by aftermarket engine software”, different baud rates neither work
This message in addition with the eeprom problem makes me think that the ecu has a previous tune

¿What do you think? ¿what should be my next steps, flash an ori file and a virgin 95040?

I attach the original .bin from the eeprom, and two immo off files I tried and doesn’t work
Me7.5 8N0906018F -0261206105  SW:1037350745

Not sure if this should be posted here, Thanks

I read the eeprom with argdub tool

i tried the reading with power to Pin 121 but no luck
Code:

Connecting...
Starting slow init connection.
Connecting to address 0x01.
Slow init succeeded.
Switching to KWP1281 session.
KWP1281 connect info: THIS-IS-THE-RAM-PROGRAM-         [][]][][][]
Connecting to address 0x01.
Slow init succeeded.
Switching to KWP2000 session.

Reading ECU flash memory.
ECU reports programming session preconditions have been met.
Negotiating communication timings.
Timing negotiation failed. Communications timings are unchanged.
Successfully changed to new communication timings.
Requesting security access.
ECU reports that security access is not supported.
Starting diagnostic session.
Successfully started diagnostic session.
Negotiating communication timings.
Successfully changed to new communications timings.
Requesting security access.
Security access granted
Validating flash memory starts at 0x00800000 and ends at 0x00880000
Validation failed, ECU reports RequestUpload service is not supported. ReuqestUpload may have been disabled bu aftermarket engine software:
Reading ECU flash memory failed.
100% complete.
Memory layout validation failed

I'll ask galleto to a friend who I think has one
I don't mind to lose the tuned flash because because i don´t know the company (and the ecu come from a junkyard)and i want to start to tune by myself (on the bench by the moment)
Could writing an ori and a new eeprom file be enough to start the immo-off like a normal ecu? Or do I need to do something else?

Thanks

It is not stock, can you read ECU info?
I will be good if you wont to put out file, yust in case
Then flash stock file and free to go,
On eepeom make immo off and check sum with ME7looger( you also need ME7EEPEOM) all you need is on this forum

Yes, I can read the ECU info without problems

I have just written the ori (attached) via nefmoto, it throws some errors erasing memory sectors but at the end looks as a successful flash.

The next step is find a eeprom file,
do i need a specific 018F .bin or any ME7.5 will work?

Is a dashboard adaptation or recode needed after eeprom flashing?
or will the immo-off.bin stop the light from blinking in the dashboard?
Thanks

You can try with eeprom file you read out.
Yust do immo off and check sum. Visal Me7looger can do it
Even you do immo off to ECU, you immo light will flash if your key is not matched with cluster. But car will start and drive normaly

Ok, i was not sure about that.
As i have time because the quarantine and i haven't the car near of me to test if the immo-off works, my next steps will be around the cluster.
I will try to find solution for the immo light, and to do a odometer correction,I have a new forged engine waiting to be installed after this time and i would like to set odo to 0 miles when it's done.
I'll post it when I can try it

Thank you
