I’ve tried yesterday to read with 5.017 and 2.53 through the OBD-Port, but wasn’t possible.
So that I grab some wire's, connector's and a Switch. I take some of the cable work from the Internet and build one of this DSG DQ250 „direct cable's“. And see there, is works fine!
So know I have the directly read from the TCU and can workout my stuff on the DSG and also do my internal developments. Because I have tried for now 4 DSG tunes and all of them was rubbishy!!! Every tune had his good points but the last one was not really able to figured out, where are all of the torque limiters, so that my stage 2 Car was only put 395Nm. The ECU brings something around 440Nm.
I also drive mostly on the race track (Salzburgring and Nordschleife) with the car and I don’t need only super fast gear changes , I need a package in general, with is really custome tune not only increased shift tables and times.
That is the reason, why I actually ask this question above! So I will tray to write the File back through the OBD-Port and will see, what if it works and what happens. If it doesn’t work, I will write it back directly on the TCU with additional DQ250 cable.
Last but not least, there is also a Original VCP in house. ODIS 5-1-6 is also avaiable.
I will post my results. But maybe there are other petrolheads, with have tried and can report some to this. I will also put the ID from the read.
