Using the data for a standalone. What would be the best way to convert the VVT maps at idle/decel/cruise/WOT. (ie, just go diagonally at it the whole map or just use 109%). Doesn'0t need to be 100% but close enough to save time tuning. Mostly interested in idle and WOT

Does 109% load = WOT or is it just a calculated load?

1. 100+% = WOT
2. 50% = WOT but a low airflow

3. Why does the Exhaust VVT jump from a positive > negative > positive same rpm different load? (2nd pic)
4. Why doesn't the values coincide with the Study guide (full advance below 1200rpm then base than advance near redline)? (3rd pic)

What ECU?  Single stage VVT should only have -18 and 22, nothing in between.

From a Mk5 R32, full range VVT on int&exh

KFNWSA and KFNWSE are the main maps right? Every other vvt maps are just corrections for various conditions?

Will be installed on 3.6 vr6, but couldn't find definition files for it. I believe any 2006+ vr6 have very similar operation and range. Just need something to start on, will tune from there.

Attached OLS proj. Got it somewhere on this site.

I think you can roughtly load=kpa here.  So 50% is not wot, just cruise area.Highest tree or four rows are same to have some histeresis for WOT.
Also there is set value for reference camshaft angle value(can differ on intake/exhaust), so it will be as zero for your standalone (means mechanical position, vvt not active) and count movement degree from them. So WNWSE(A)APP  values in this file.
