You cant copy the scales from rs4 b7 the maps are diffrent ( 8x8bytes in rb4/rb8 cluster and not covered by checksum , 16x16 byte in vdo cluster from b5/c5/8L covered by checksum ) - upload your dump i think i can rescale it
Rs4 b5 and rs6 c5 are 8000 rpm / 310 km/h
But if someone has a dump from rs4 b7 please share - looking for it for a long time

Not meaning to hijack this post but can the temp sensor be switched to CAN on RB4 cluster?

I don't think so - temperature by can was implemented with rb8 clusters and new generation of ecus ( 2.0tfsi/3.2fsi and 2.0tdi/2.7tdi/3.0tdi ) and all of them are immo4 ( WFS4 )
Why do you need to turn on such signal?

I thought they worked when i first installed the engine but I cant remember. I swapped a W12 into my b7. Everything but the temp works on the rb4 cluster. I may just run the wiring for the temp sensor. I thought I read somewhere that CAN could be activated.

I think that you should try to swap a a4 b7 rb8 cluster from tsi/tfsi engine or even rs4 b7 - they should work
Do you have any links/photos to your project?

Not all rb8 cluster will work ok - only the immo4 ones. Or maybe even them wont with w12 ecus

I went through my photos and found a photo of the tach working with the original rb8 wfs4 cluster. need to look into it further. I thought it worked before.
