Hello all.  I'm having a slight issue and thought maybe smarter minds than mine could help sort it out.  So I've been using the community stg 2 tune for my 2.7t as a break in tune for my single turbo install.  It works absolutely beautifully and has given me zero issues.   But..... If I try to modify the bin for say, less boost and more idle, the me7check finds errors, me7sum says it finds 7 errors, says it fixes 7 errors, and outputs a clean bin.  I flash the ecu, the flash says success, and so I install the ecu and the car runs just like I want.  But as soon as I turn the car off after driving, it will not start and I get errors saying checksum memory error.  If I reflash the ecu, same thing.....everything says success and the car starts. But will not restart after driving.  It will though start and restart as many times as I want after flashing without driving it.  It's only after driving the car then once you turn it off, it will not restart.

I've tried all suggested things like remove/reinstall/recheck/reflash/ect ect.  It's something strange and I can't seem to find any other instances that match what I'm seeing.
It will run perfectly on the community stg 2 tune.  What I did was  lower the max boost and level it out and changed some idle values so it is higher.   Once I try to run a modified bin, then the same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

And a big thanks to any and all advice!

Here is the modified bin I have been trying to run-
I also attached a modified bin that I tried setting to 20psi.

Why make us download those? Post the output of me7sum.

Please don't take a picture of your screen, copy/paste the text.

I'm willing to bet $100 neither of those are corrected, and you didn't run the utility correctly.

There must something wrong with you flashtool... i know that problem... i have 4 Years ago Kess and Ktag master clone both had the same Problem.... Checksumm was all right from Software-> Ori with Licens of Winols. So it must be ur Utility for sure or wrong wrote in your MAP

No. Download the binaries and see for yourself.

In any case, this also depends on the work flow, not all flashers do checksumming automatically.

Yes sir.   I've used the tools before with much success.   It's just recently that I started to have this issue.  I used the comm stg 2 tune on my k04s and of course it worked perfectly so I didn't need to make any major changes.   I think I just raised the idle some and did some minor timing adjustments.  But me7sum found/fixed all the errors and I never had an issue.  Like I said, it's strange(at least to me).   Me7sum reports all errors fixed and when I flash the ecu (I always use a bench flasher with stable 13-14v power source),  it reports flashing success and then disconnects.   Car will start immediately, but after driving, will not restart and then give me the checksum memory errors

I can flash stock, internet stg2, Nef stg2, all no problems.  Its only when I make changes that the problem arises.

I will pick up another ecu with no immo and try that.   I do have a stock a6 2.7t 6spd ecu I can use in a pinch.

8d0-551m doesn't care about immo. it has no immo code in it.

something else is amiss. Are you sure you are writing out.bin? Why didn't you post the corrected bin?

Yes, certain I wrote out.bin. you can see it in the text from the cmd screen copy.
The bins I posted are the out.bins Im getting from me7sum.  In both cases, me7sum finds 7 errors,  fixes them, then gives the out.bin.   and I can flash either one into my ecu and nefmoto says flashing success  all sectors or whatever.  Install ecu, start car, run vagcom, no codes, nothing.    Drive car, shut off, no start, checksum errors pop up.

If possible,  could someone run me7sum on either one of those bins and then I could install it and see if it works.  I guess that would let me know the problem is with my hardware/software.

Thx again for the help.   Once I can get out bins error free, I'm working on the hex coding.  Luckily for that I have a young friend who helped right the hex for some of the newer GM stuff.
