Hey does any one have experience with Vag dash can? Ive installed it fine but when i open it it gives me a USB port open error. Im using a KKl 409.1 cable and windows 10.

Vag dash can works only with dedicated cable

I also have a hex v2 cable but from what I read it looks like it wont work either. Is that still true? Browsing on line I found this cable https://ebay.us/mevUFq would this work? Is there a cable you recommend?

Just to be clear, the KKL cable I have works for flashing and vcd lite? If i want to use VAG dash, Vag tacho for immo off or read a ecu I need a different cable that supports Can?

You need cable that is vagdashcan , no other will work. Vagtacho also has dedicated cable but its not worth buying.

+1 considering that the genuine and rep vcds cables work with most programs in dumb mode

Cool im thinking of getting the cable I listed above but before I do, Is there a program that lets me use kkl cable to turn off Immo?

Vag kcan commander 1.4 should work with me7 and kkl cable

i have gotten it to run before. either mess with compatibility settings in program properties or use windows xp mode to solve most issues.
