Hello guys,
Could you please help me to overcome my issue?
The issue is that I have very rich AFR in idle and it's fluctuating from 11.0 to 16.0 with 0 280 158 298 injectors. I've already set ridiculous TVUB (0,98 0,64 0,45 0,36 0,28) but it's anyway to rich. KRKTE is 0,05433, TEMIN 0,28. I thought that my 3Bar FPR is broken and the fuel pressure is too high but I checked it yesterday and it was 2,8Bar in idle and 3,3Bar without a hose.
Currently I'm thinking that I reach "dead line" (when amount of fuel for such injection time is none linear) issue for this injectors. However on the other hand here a lot of people with that injector and they don't have that issue.

And one more thing there is also this weird AFR fluctuation on part throttle up to 2000 rpm. From 2000 rpm to 7000 everything is fine.

So now i no have any clues what the reason could be. Sad Guys please help!

Are you stock diameter MAF? Could be a scaling problem there. Also are you sure there are no false air leaks?? Gobs of vacuum lines and check valves to fail/leak. I am running those injectors at 4 bar on E85 currently, but have also run them on 93. Idle adaptation +-1% so I’m thinking there is something else going on

I ran those same injectors for 8mo on pump and never had an issue with them. When i get home ill kick what specs I used (but on 4 bar)    I will check log when home as well...  withouy looking at log your specs are way off of what that injector wants so I second a vote for scaling issue, or bon genuine injectors.

Will check back in after I review your log

Thanks, guys, for your replies!

Recently I've checked leaks with steam machine, found a small one and fixed it.

My MAF is S4 stock (0 280 218 038) and I've got calibration from that bin file (MLOFS = 200, MLHFM also has been copied but maybe it should be checked again). Moreover everything was fine with 550 cc injectors therefore it shouldn't be scaling issue. To be honest with new injectors I installed a new fuel pump (320 liter/hour) which makes pressure more that manual recommends (2,5-2,6Bar) my is 2.9Bar.

Where did you get the injectors from?

What I used with 0280158298 is the following, Please bear in mind that this is on a 4bar regulator base

KRK-- 0.04862
Tvub         3.984   2.456   1.680   1.075   0.691
Temin   0.323

I've bought it on ebay from the guys who was recommended on this forum. Box was new and unbroken with thet injectors. Currentl i'm thingking maybe i'm wrong with my MLHFM calibration. I'm checking it.

It's almost like mine. I use AEM 320.

Have you measured fuel pressure on idle?

My fuel pressure is lower then yours. So it looks like hardware issue in my car. But where...
Maybe something wrong with return hose... Or maybe with one of the injectors.

Of course your fuel pressure is lower then mine... you stated you have a 3bar regulator... im using a 4bar.

On a true 3 bar regulator tours should be 42-3 at idle no vac, and with vac drop to 31-33 depending on how heslthy motor is

I meant you even have fuel pressure higher than mine and you have smooth idle.
It's really weird but AFR is fluctuating from 11 to 17 with pretty the same injection time, mifa_w, throttle plane angle, rl_w and etc.

Are the first 2 load columns of IOP stock?? My 1.8t was fluctuating a ton at idle, would do a weird throttle hang thing when I was coasting to a stop, etc, with a non-stock IOP. Last night I changed the first 2 columns of IOP back to stock and now rock solid idle and no weird throttle hang. Almost like Bosch knew better than me   Wink
