Hello, i have ME7.5 Audi S3 ECU which has lost power (i have borrowed another ECU and it worked perfectly fine) so i think my ECU is kind of dead.

OLD ECU: 8N0906018BP

I have bought another ME7.5 ECU with a part number 4B0906018DP

I have used Galletto software to READ the old ecu. Then checked checksum, everything is OK.

I have used Galletto software to WRITE the new ecu. Process complete but ECU does not work, no EPC light with ignition, car does not start, VCDS not connecting. Only working in boot mode.

Is there any solution to this? Thanks.

DP has a newer bootrom version and is not compatible with BP.

Thanks for the info, so if i flash the original file back to the ECU it will work again? Also, does anybody know the list of ECUs that are compatible to clone with this one?

03-05 b5.5 and b6 ecus are cross flashable. mk4 wideband, tt225, 2001 awm b5 a4 are cross flashable

If you are in the market for a tune and would like the ease of downloading and flashing a dyno tested tune for a fair price check out https://instatune.sellfy.store/
