Hey!

I've got a DTC which i just can't seem to solve. P0130 (B1 S1 malfunction in circuit). I put a brand new lambda sensor and i've logged it, the values it spits out look perfect. I'm currently running stock software to rule out any issues i might have created myself only KRKTE was edited to account for increased fuel pressure.

What could possibly cause this DTC which is honestly driving me crazy at this point. Things that might or might not interfere: engine has SAI/N249/N112 deletes, catless downpipe, cold air intake (some other mods aswell but that shouldn't interfere). My own "tuned" file has the full deletes for second O2, ESKONF changes and some other goodies found on S4wiki and forum.

Could anyone give me a single clue on where to look, because i'm absolutely out of ideas. The sensor is brand new, the values look good and i'm running stock sofware apart from KRKTE edit.

Did you check the fuse for the O2 heater circuit?

I haven't!

I'm going to check it straight away when I get to the car later today!

Little edit: the DTC doesn't instantly come up, it takes something around 75-200km for it to pop up. Also appears to come up less frequently when making a trip on the highway.

I might just end up doing this aswell, even though i don't like deleting DTC's.

I just don't understand why this code is set, I've also tried different ECU's, checked wiring, changed lambda, changed software but nothing seems to help get rid of this stupid DTC.

i wouldnt advise deleting the p code it still will shut off lambda control it just wont show the code. poor injector calculation can throw the code too

This occures on some firmware when you change O2S config CWKONLS (03 -> 01) in PROKON folder.
Try to set back to original value.
Which is ecu ID number?

I'm running stock 315cc injectors on 4 bar pressure. Only change made to this bin is KRKTE from 0.10301 to 0.08947. Fuel trims look pretty good.

I get the DTC on full stock software aswell. CWKONLS = 3

Only change made is KRKTE as mentioned above.

ME7.5 06A 906 032 DE software number.

Coming back on this thread; I've honestly tried everything in the book. Checking for obvious hardware faults, having used brand new OEM sensors, different ECU, stock software etc etc etc. It seems that i just cannot get rid of this code. After having read on the forum that this code sometimes needs to be patched out this is what i'm resorting to, as i really do not have a clue how to get rid of it. Lambda functions well (it's new how couldn't it) i've also logged it there is nothing odd about it.

I don't have a clue why this stupid code gets set at what seems random intervals.

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=567.msg44063#msg44063

Now i've tried studying this thread, but i can't seem to understand how to get to the specific code. My error class table starts at 1070F aswell, and i figured my VAG specific table would have the same location as in the thread; 13266. How do I go about finding the P0130 code? (and zero'ing it out). I'd be extremely grateful to whoever helps me out on this one, as i've been struggling with this stupid code for almost 2 years.

This code appears when o2 sensor poisoned with rich mixture
Clear codes start the engine and connect via vcds
Meas blocks 033 031
Wait until o2 sensor starts to work (033 voltage starts floating from 1.520)
Now if you see the voltage go down to zeros and o2 regulation % goes to -25 then its just o2 poisoning false detected as curcuit fault
And the krkte or tvub is the issue in that case for sure

I have tried everything cant fix.. it 3 new sensors 4 different ecus and still have fault. blocks 32 33 stay at 0% clear codes and comes back 2 key cycles later..

Now do the MATHS lol

P0130 @ 2 LOCATIONS

1358A (C) - 13270 = 31A (31C)
31A (C) / 8 = 63
1070F + 63 = 10772  = CLALSH and 10773 = CLALSV

Good suggestion, but it doesn't do this. It goes minus a few % but within fair limits and definitely not -25.

My KRKTE is correct (adjusted for 4 bar pressure), TVUB stock because injectors are stock.

You are a legend! I'm going to check this out and make sense of it... i must be able to understand this.
