Hello just joined upto this site as i have always been interested in learning about remapping and i want to try and understand it more....I am a machanic by trade and have built a few big power cosworth engines and im on building a 500bhp engine for my own sierra cosworth now...

I have just bought a seat leon cupra 180bhp as a everyday car and also just bought a Galletto 1260 flasher and have took a copy of the standard map out the car ( i will post this up in the standard map section shortly )

I hope to be able one day to tweak the file myself to stage 1 so if anyone can point me to software to be able to open the file up and to any writeups that can help me understand more about remapping it would be very much appreciated...
