Thats the reason then. I had a dodgy pre build tune myselff and it was always pouring gas in the cylinders. Just get the original file, validate it and see if the car runs. Go from there, because this current one is more likely to destroy your engine then do any good. I ran the same ac on/off function on my 1.8t with the ac discharged/non working compressor, it has nothing to do with it.
Okay, I found original software for my car and I tried this A/C mod on them and results are same. Car still popping all the time. Any other ideas? I'm starting to think it's impossible... |

I still don't know why the LDRXN is wrong when the AFR comes out fine and the car doesn't knock, smoke and drives great.... The only thing that is over limit is the inject time for injectors. It is higher, but I am preparing for larger injections. |

You have some serious reading to do on the s4wiki. Fuel is the easy part with stock internals.. Stop with the pop tune for now(it will only damage your turbo more) and focus on a good working car.. the 1.8t have a turbo with way to thin of a wall on the exhaust side of the turbo and is prone to crack very quick. The pop tune will only make things worse.. you should have pops from stock with only a good 3" exhaust. |

This maps you need to edit for the pops and bangs on the ac/dc
KFZWMN -5 -10 you should try this out. Select Touring where you want the car to pop.
KFZWOP Selecting two top rows can be -0 -20. Select Touring where you want the car to pop.
KFTVSA Set to 2.5
DNWEK (put the revs of the car here) look in the map NMAX for the maximum revs.
TVSAGO Set to 2.5.
TVSABTE, Set to 2.5.

dnwek 6000 = pops and bangs when compressor running. So do you have gas in aircon etc, does your a/c work? |
