After i bricked my ecu and dont have the equipment to boot it, i ordered an ecu from an other 1.8t aum engine with 210 ps tuned by an popular company.

My ecu has the serial number : 06A 906 032 HJ

The ecu i ordered has the serial number : 06A 906 032 HN

The clue is that the ecu i ordered has got the immobolizer deactivated and thats why i think its plug and play and get the car started.

Also i readed in the fr that HJ and HN are near to similar.

Am i right or what do i need to code ?

hardware wise they are the same. one is 150 factory tune and the other is 180. hardware wise all a chassis wideband 1.8t cars have the same ecu hardware only differences are calibration. so if the ecu runs your car without issue youre fine

Should probably adapt the immobilizer with VCDS procedure if you haven't. I recommend you to get the hardware to fix your original ECU as it seems this is getting way to complex for no reason. Fix it in bootmode, do it properly.

Now i ordered an other ecu with immo off but my vcds isnt going into the channel 1 engine.

It has the same issue as before : 01177 64-10

Why is it not going in the channel 1 ? What should i do?

Okay sorry my bad  Grin
A pin wasnt straight and thats why it didnt communicate with the engine ecu.

But my ecu shows the Extra Number : XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX

Is that how it should be with immo off or is there something wrong?
