Hi Guys, I have a 1m AUQ Stage 2 Leon and I want to add the pop and bang with A/C but keep getting checksum issues. ME7check v1.08 (c) mki, 06/2004-04/2011 Checking file Stage_2_AUQ_Pops.bin (size=1048576) Reading Version Strings... -> Bootrom Version = 05.12 -> EPK = 41/1/ME7.5/51/4518.06//24B/Dst01o/131102/ -> Contents of ECUID data table: - '0261208221' (SSECUHN) - '1037367220' (SSECUSN) - '1ML906032A ' (VAG part number) - '0001' (VAG sw number) - '1.8l R4/5VT ' (engine id) -> Contents of ECUID data table: - 'HW_MAN004'
-> Found 6 errors!!! ******************************* I have no idea how to resolve this, as I am new to all this. Is it possible for someone to add loud pop and bang via A/C for me please? Thank you!

DIY site. You'll generally have to pay for it if you're not doing it yourself, so if you want that put that request in the services area & someone who has the time & wants the money will do it for you.

i can tell you whom ever made the file tried doing crackles only using kfzw/2 only lol. if anything that will just cause timing oscillations and make the car feel odd on decel

It was done by Badger5 in the UK. I haven't noticed the car the being odd on decel

kfnwegm is stock lol timing is messed up. if you bought this file you might wanna ask for your money back. havent even gotten into the juicy stuff yet lol but uh yeah they retarded ignition timing in base ignition and in minimum ignition tables but left overrun fuel cut stock. lol so at best youll have a car that feels odd during decel

It was a custom dyno map. The car feels great to be honest

was the file sold with crackles or did you have anyone else try to add crackles on decel? Normally (by what i hear) they do good work and i find it really odd that a establishment as well known as them would have done something like this

The car was remapped about a year ago and I read the ECU yesterday. No one has touched it

I've been looking at the file, and trying to make sense of it. Don't have a proper XDF so far have gotten a few maps correct.
Either way it appears this file has some extremely weird changes.

Here you go.
Either way seems like a really weird file, can't really make any sense of KFZWMN and comparing in HEX is quite hard because the map has been messed with. Changelog underneath;
03/17/2021 15:21:57 Table: KFTVSA - Switch delay time for overrun cut changed. 03/17/2021 15:22:05 Scalar: DNWEK changed from 160.0 Upm (0x04) to 7000.0 Upm (0xAF). 03/17/2021 15:22:13 Scalar: TVSAG0 changed from 0.000 s (0x0000) to 2.500 s (0x00FA). 03/17/2021 15:22:20 Scalar: TVSABTE changed from 0.000 s (0x0000) to 2.500 s (0x00FA). 03/17/2021 15:23:27 Table: KFZWOP (Optimal ignition angle) changed. 03/17/2021 15:23:28 Table: KFZWOP2 (Optimal ignition angle (variant 2)) changed. KFZW and KFZW2 edited aswell.
Testing it is your own risk! So i suggest learning how to do it yourself and understanding the changes. Had nothing to do so figured i'd help you out.

Hey, I have started to learn a bit more about remapping but I'm having some issues. I'm using a well defined 032HN xdf and bin to define my bin but for some "rows" or "columns" I can't seem to find an address (it's just blank, when I compare with the other bin). Would any of you be kind enough to send the xdf you defined for my ECU so I can learn from it. Thank you

HN is extremely well defined. I believe three different versions float around nefmoto (probably a bunch more), search for them and you'll find it. Also a tip; If you can't find axis data learn how to use hex. You can compare a bin/xdf with known locations with the one you'd like to know the locations of. Usually the axis data is extremely close and just before the data you'd like to change.
