AUQ to AUM
Hello, I want to increase performance of my stock 1.8t AUM, ECU 06A906032DK V0001, immo3. I prefer to do it with factory maps, and I read about two ways to do it in the forum.

First option is to crossflash  with AUQ bin, but I don’t know which one is compatible with my ECU, and also am afraid of bricking it. I think that the immo data is in the eeprom, so I don’t have to pair the ECU with cluster after flash? Also, if I get a spare ecu, is it possible to clone my eeprom to it, in case something go wrong? Immo off option is something that I want to avoid.

The other option is dump my ecu flash, and replace the maps from auq file, but I’ve never done this before. The map addresses are also different as far as I know.

The software and cable that I consider to buy and use is Galletto 1.260 (EOBDII ECU Flasher).
This is output from ME7Checker of original 032DK, downloaded from the forum (should be the same as mine):

DK (at least that in my car) is 100% immo3. Recently i changed the instrument cluster with VDO (was Jaeger with tons of problems), there was issue with software version of the replacement cluster that i got and a local technician help me to reflash it with different firmware, that supports immo3.

That is the 032HN version that i have:

Do you think this will work? And if it fails, will i be able to flash back my original file with the Galletto 1.260, or i will need something else?

Hello ,i am currently trying to do the same.can  anybody advice me which is the easiest way and what .bin file shall i look for?off an auq ecu.

And..what about the immo? Any clue where i could get them maps anyway?
