Hi Guys,

Have a customer that just bought a 2013 GolfR 5K0907115M 0030, CZRA FSI Belt Engine.  It has a cast Integrated Engineering Manifold that deletes the charge flaps and sensors.  Car has stock tune now (verified) .  Issue is when car starts cold with a duration for approx. 60secs (warmup) its runs very rough.  After warmup cycle it idles perfectly.

I don't have the exact A2L and many of the LBK areas are not aligning well.  I have tried the Runner flap delete mods that are typ. No cel for any intake sensor codes.

I tried modifying the following:

LBKSOLL maps all set to zero
KFNLLNST set to zeros
KFKSTT_0_A reduced by 5%

Cold Start is still absolutely awful, can anyone shed any hints on how to eliminate the issue?

Thanks in advance

This is probably the cat heating phase. If the engine has no cat either i would first try to deactivate cat-heating.

Even if it has cats you can disable cat heating.
Set FHOKH to 4.

It probably will be fine after that.

Set FHOKH to 4.

That is the kind of information i was searching about the cat heating procedure.
I was spending so many hours in KFZWKH... etc. and nothing worked.

Tested on MED17.5 - worked. Thank you!!!

It is always good to look at activation conditions (BBKH in this case).
This is true for more than just cat heating. If you want to turn off a certain behavior make sure that the pre-conditions to enter it are never met, rather than try to edit the maps controlling the behavior.

FHOKH is just one way, you can also for example set the temperature to something stupid etc.
