Hi I have 2 different map files the first is a stage 3 with higher boost the second a stage 2 lower boost both with pops/bangs

The stage 3 map kfzwmn from about 1000rpm to 5800rpm all blocks are set at -96.00 is that correct
Kfzwop and kfzwop2 looks untouched
Also I don't get any pops/bangs

The stage 2 file in kfzwmn is only set at -30 at 5800rpm and same in kfzwop and kfzwop2. I get pops/bangs and sometimes flames

If I was to change the values in my stage 3 file to the same as the stage 3 will I be able to get the pops/bangs

Thanks for any help I am trying to understand it all as much as I can but I'm a bit unsure and don't want to bugger it up

Could I not just add the pop/bang part and leave the rest as it is or is that to risky

Am I better off starting from scratch and making my own

Talking from experience - yes a lot of 'tuner' files are garbage anyway. Start from scratch nothing special about a stg1 or 2 map. (heck even stg3 on stock turbo lols)

Nothing is stopping you from playing with the "tuned" file though, it's just that it most likely isn't worth bothering with in the first place.

Thanks for the help and input.

I might give it both a try and tune my own and tweak the tuned file a bit for pops and bangs

How would I get pops and bangs if I don't adjust kzfwop and kzfwop2 I thought that was the way to go

Some say you don't need to, though i get way better results when changing KFZWOP/2 aswell.
