Hello all,
I'm trying to read the ECU from Ibiza 6K0906032AA, ayp
I tried with Galletto 1260 clone but it only reads 24% or 20% and stops with: ERROR READ.
I tried with NefMoto and FT232RL clone but the read stops after it starts, some times it can read 18% and some times or less, I noticed that if I put 124800 Baud it can download more than 9600 Baud before it stops, anyone can help me please, how to read it?
Is there any better cable that can read it?

For that I need to open ECU and short pin 24 to Ground? I prefer not to do that, is there any other option without open the ECU?

Don't be scared, that is not big deal. Just take easy and you will make it. Much higher risk is to read via OBD and lock ECU
Maybe MPPS clone can read it via OBD

Does anyone know what is the reason that it stops in the middle of the process?
I read that some ECUs can be read with removing the fuses, like the instrument cluster or fuel pump, what do you think, can it work?

Yes, but I would expect that it would not be possible to start reading at all or that the reading process will stop always at the same time,
I don't use external voltage to boost it to 13v, can it be the problem?

20% and 24% could be one block in software, literally nothing. Bootmode it, but if it's tuned by APR or similar you can't edit it without bricking it anyway.

Please explain, if I use boot mode to load it and the software is looked, can it brake the ECU?
By the way one time I managed to download a little more than 40%
