I've been working with Maestro 7 for a while but I'm looking to further my tuning experiences working with tuner pro. I've been trying to get a look at the files posted on the site using tunerpro. It seems as though I am able to only read the file in the hex editor. Should the files be somehow converted to XDF instead of BIN so that I may read the maps?

You need both a bin (the image) and and xdf (map information).

They're two separate files.

oh ok I understand.... the XDF files are the definitions of the bin files? Basically unlocking the hex data into something we can understand. I see alot of the definition files are ols or kp I'm assuming in order to use these files VIA tunerpro you will have to convert them to XDF, is this possible?

Yes, I have a program that converts .kp files to .xdf

however, it only works on very old versions of .kp
